Avon Face Mask Review

So I decided I want to pamper myself and get rid of all the things clogging up my pores. So I tried out the Avon Black Mineral Face Mask. I have had it for ages and never used it so I thought I would give it a try. 

It's a black, thick consistency and you have to apply a thin layer all over your face, obviously making sure you leave a space around your eyes. 

So after I put it on I decided to have a bath, while I waited for it to dry, it said on the instructions that it would take 10-15 minutes, but with me it took around half an hour. I don't know if it was because I put too thick a layer on my skin, but I don't know. 

This was about 5 minutes after applying the mask. It began to harden around the edges and then it became hard to move my face. It wasn't uncomfortable like some masks can be. There wasn't a major scent to it which is nice, sometimes masks can have a horrible scent, which I cannot stand 

This was about 25 minutes in, as you can see most of of it has turned grey and it was impossible to move my face. You could see little black spots, and this is where the oil is being pulled out of the skin. 

Here is a close up of the black dots which won't dry as much as the rest. I knew that I would have the most black dots around my nose and chin, but I found I also had some on my inner cheeks.

Then I washed it off, it was pretty simple, I ran some warm water and then I scrubbed it off with a flannel, it's nice because it also exfoliates the skin. The. After I did that I used my face wash and then a thick moisturiser because the mask made my skin feel a little dry. 

So this is my skin afterwards, as you can see my skin is a little red, but it feels so nice and clean now. I think this product is great. I don't remember the price, but it wasn't expensive. I would definitely use this product again. But it's not for every day use, I would say once or twice a week because it's quite drying and abrasive when you take it off. I give this product a 8.5/10 the only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because I wish it was a peel off mask as I find them so therapeutic peeling it off.
