So I thought I would tell you all the other essentials that I am taking on holiday, I have a few other things that I would take with me to Tenerife.
The first essential if you are going on holiday, especially to a hot country is swimming wear, I am taking some swimming costumes and then a high waisted bikini, Even though I am not the smallest girl in the world, I want to get a bikini so I can tan up my stomach. You wear whatever you feel comfortable in. This bikini set is around £40.00 but it is underwired on the bra because I need support! You can get this from Marisota.co.uk.
Next I would bring some kind of cover up or Kimono, to wear while I am at the beach or around the pool. You can wear anything that you feel comfortable. I like these slip on kaftans, Try and get something bright to add a little something to your outfit, this on retails for £16 on Very.co.uk and i think its so beautiful, espically with the little pom poms!
You need sunglasses, you don't want to get wrinkles under your eyes or headaches from squinting in the sun. I love sunglasses. I really like cat eye sunglasses, I think that they suit my face shape, and I really like mirrored sunglasses. I like the variety of ASOS sunglasses, These beauties retail for £10 on the ASOS website.
Next on to shoes, When I go on holiday, I like to take some flip flops/ sandles, some trainers and some flats. These flats are £14.00 from ASOS and they are so comfotable and easy to walk in. I usually get a few pairs of cheap flip flops from Primark, and then I use my Nike running trainers for if I have to take a long walk or I need the extra support.
Next on to some essentials to take in your carry on bag. The first thing is a travel document holder, I found this one on Ebay for around £5, I think its great as it has space for your passport, your boarding pass and everything else you might need. I think this is a great idea to keep everything in it's right place.
I also think it's a great idea to get a backpack as your carry on bag, it makes it easier than trying to juggle all of your bags. I have this backpack from New Look and i love it, it has two pockets to make sure you have everything in the right place. This one cost £19.99. (sorry for the small picture)
Next I think you need a good sized purse, to make sure you can fit all you english money and your foriegn money, and any cards you may need. I found this one on littlewoods for £7.50. I think this one is perfect and will fit everything well.
You need some headphones, there is no way I would wear the ones you get given on the airplane. I will be getting some over head headphones, because they are so much more comfortable for long journeys, and also if possible, try and find some that cancel out any other noises, you don't want to hear a crying baby the whole way through your flight. These ones are £30.99 from Currys.
Next you need a good book, You can get an actual book or download one onto your phone or ipad. At the moment I am loving Stephen King books and James Patterson books, but I have just bought Louise Pentland's (or Sprinkle Of Glitter on Youtube) new book Life With A Sprinkle Of Glitter, It's all little tips and tricks and little parts of her life, which I can't wait to read! But I will be downloading a few books on my Ipad to read by the pool!
I will also be downloading a few episodes of my favourite programme on my ipad to watch on the plane, this will make sure that it will pass the time on the 4 hour plane journey. The programmes I have been loving are Pretty Little Liars and Once Upon A Time. You can get these off Itunes, but the prices vary.
And I think that is all I can think of for my holiday essentials. Comment below what you think are your holiday essentials. Thanks for reading!
