I have to apologise for the fact that I've been MIA for a while. Since I have moved back home, I was adamant I wasn't going to stay the way I was. I was so unhappy, with the way I looked, my confidence had hit an all time low and my life really wasn't going anywhere. I didn't have a job, I didn't really leave the house. I was a shell of who I was before, and my illness was really getting the better of me. I knew I had to make some changes. So I started with trying to get some of my pain under control. I went to a physiotherapist who helped a lot with the tension in my neck and shoulders. My headaches went down a lot and the pain was a lot more manageable. Then my mum and I decided we wanted to loose some weight. We tried cooking from the 'Lean in 15' cook books, and try eating less crappy food. But we found it ended up being short lived. We just couldn't stick to it.
In May my Mum and I decided to join Slimming World. I had seen one of my friends loose a great deal of weight, but what I noticed more was how much her confidence had grown, and that hit me really hard. So we decided to jump into the deep end. And I will never regret this decision. I am going to be really honest. I have never really talked about how much I weigh/weighed, but now I am proud of it so I don't mind sharing it. When I started I was 17 stone 8 when I started and now, 11 weeks on I am 15 stone 8, meaning I have lost 2 stone. That's an average of roughly 2 1/2 pounds a week. I have had some amazing weeks (loosing 5 or 6 pounds) and some 'bad' weeks (where I have maintained or gained) but the thing I have found since I have started is my willpower has increased so much since I started Slimming World. Before I would have given up after like a month. But I haven't. I thought if i had one bad day of eating bad food, I would just fall off the waggon but I didn't. I'm so proud of how strong I have become.
Here is a side-by-side of my progress. On the left was when I started back in May, and the right is me nearly 3 months later at the end of July. I cannot believe how much I have changed. The first things that stand out to me are my waist has really gone in, giving me more of a hourglass figure, the tops of my legs are not as big (which i have to say gives me far less chafing, which is awesome) and my face has really thinned out. When I started Slimming World, I had a very round face and a prominent double chin, but now my face has a lot more of a heart shape now. But what has changed the most for me is my confidence. Taking the photo on the left scared the shit out of me, I really didn't want to take the picture, but I knew I would want it for comparison later down the line. I was so nervous about taking a picture in my underwear, in a neutral pose, showing off all my flaws. But when I tried on the red bikini 2 weeks ago, I knew I had to take a picture. I was so proud of how I looked and how far I had come.
Here is another side-by-side of my face alone. I have found that my cheeks aren't so big, making my eyes look bigger too, and my chin is more prominent, and my double chin doesn't show as much in pictures. Since I started Slimming World I have had more pride in the way I look. I will take more time in my appearance. In May, I would hardly wear any makeup or do anything nice with my hair. I wore the same baggy 'comfy' clothes, and I would hide myself away. Now I really enjoy getting ready, doing my hair and makeup, and now I have more of the body type I would like. I get excited to get new clothes and I feel like my style has become more 'Me'. Which is great!
Here is a few pictures from my birthday (22nd July) this year. I went to London and for the first time (basically ever) I wore a pretty tight dress. It hugged my curves and before I would have just said a massive NOPE to wearing something like this. But when I bought this I actually felt really confident wearing it. Looking at this pictures I can't believe the difference few months has made! Even the way I pose and stand in photos. I used to always cover myself up in pictures, or I would only take pictures from the chest up. But now I am really happy to take a full length picture. The two people who have supported me the most are in these pictures with me. My mum who is along side me on this journey knows exactly how I am feeling, and I feel like we really motivate each other. And my best friend who is also on a weight loss journey (she has Poly cystic Ovaries and is having weight loss surgery soon) is my biggest inspiration and my biggest mentor. I am so lucky to have them.
I just want to talk a little more about my best friend and how she has helped me in this journey. She has understood when I struggle to eat out. She gives me ideas for what things I could get. Even though she is doing a different sort of diet, she took the time to understand all the aspects of Slimming World so she can help me out more. She has also taught me that it is okay to have a couple of cheat meals or snacks, and even a cheat day, but she has taught me that you need to get back on the waggon and don't let anyone or anything hold you back from achieving your dreams. I am so proud of her, she has lost over 2 stone, and I have seen such a massive difference in her. The way she looks, carries herself, the way her confidence has grown, the way she dresses. It makes me so happy to see her becoming more herself. Adel, If your reading this I love you so much!
So thank you so much for letting me rant on and on about random things, but sometimes its nice to really write it all down and think about things. I guess what I'm trying to say is Slimming World is not only an amazing way to loose weight, but a great place to find out who you really are. And that is what I love the most about Slimming World. If any one is feeling like their spark has gone out, you should try it. It's amazing.
Thank you for reading. Talk soon!

NYX wish list
hey guys I know it's been a very long time since I have last posted on here. I will do an update post soon!
I have been really obsessed with NYX since trying some new makeup in the January Sales. I have fallen in love with the brand and I love how affordable but amazingly well made cosmetics! I love the NYX soft matte lip cream and NYX ultimate eyeshadow pallet in Brights. So I thought I would show you some of the things I want to buy!
Face
So I'm going to start with the face products I am craving right now. I haven't tried many of their face products, but there are some that I really want to try! So let's crack on!
The first thing I would love to try is the Dewy finish setting spray. I haven't tried many setting sprays but I thought this product would be awesome to try, especially in the spring and summer. This product retails for £7.00 which I think is a bargain compared to some of the others on the market!
I don't wear foundation anymore, just a little bit of BB cream and concealer, the Gotcha Covered concealer in Alabaster, this product looks awesome and also it's waterproof which will be good when it starts to get warmer. I haven't seen many reviews but I would love to try it out. This product costs £6.00 which I think is another awesome bargain!
Next is the Mineral powder in the lightest shade. Although I love the dewy look, I find I need to set the concealer under my eyes, and just a tiny dusting on the rest of my face. Again I haven't heard much about this product but if it's anything like NYX's other products it will be amazing. This retails for £8.00 which isn't bad for a powder this size!
Eyes
I love the NYX Ultimate Brights palette, but a white eyeshadow base makes bright colours really pop! I have heard that the jumbo pencils are such an amazing product. This costs £5.50, which is great as I think this product, if used sparingly will last a long time!
Next is the Prismatic eye shadow in the shade Punk Heart. I have recently been playing around with bright eyeshadow colour combinations and my favourite ones is a bright purple halo eye, and I think this would be a perfect colour to go in the centre to highlight! This retails for £5.50 which I think is great for an eyeshadow as I don't think you will need to use a lot.
Next is the NYX white liquid liner, but I also want the matte black one. I think white would give so much definition to some makeup looks. I need to get back to doing good winged liner, so I thought these would be great and I have heard so many great things about these liquid liners. These retail for £6.00 again which as you know I think is a steal!
Next are the pigments! These things look like a gift from God, they are so beautiful! The shades that am lusting after are:
Peacock: Teal with Green glitter
Metallic Velvet: Brown with Green glitter
Froyo: frosted Lilac
Luna: Blue Opal
These beautiful products retails for £5.50 which I think is amazing as you wouldn't need much at all per look!
Lips
I Love these products! It's my favourite lip product in the world, the three shades I want to buy next are:
Vancouver: a dark berry shade
Transylvania: a dark purple
Zurich: muted Rose
These retails for £6.00 which I think is great for the most awesome product in the world!
Next are the Intense Butter Glosses. I have never tried these but 1) I have heard some amazing things about these 2) I think these are the glossy version of the soft matte lip cream. The shades I really want to try out are
Cinnamon Bun: warm toned nude brown
Pink Macaroons: bright blue toned pink
Toasted Marshmallow: mauve brown
These retail for £6.00 which again I think is amazing! Such a steal!
Alien: Black shade
Stone Fox: deep Grey with blue undertones
These retail for £7.00 which is great as these are a lot
Bigger than the other liquid lipsticks from NYX.
So that's my LONG wish list from NYX, if you have tried any of these products please comment and let me know what they are like!
Thanks for reading and I will post soon! I promise!

Living With A Chronic Illness
Living with a chronic illness
Hey guys, I am so sorry I haven't been posting for a while. I have been away on holiday and when I came back my laptop screen is broken so I can't use my laptop. So here I am on my phone!
I thought I would write a post about what it's like living with a chronic illness, or more importantly, what it's like living with Fibromyalgia. I am going to talk about my personal opinions regarding my experience with Fibro so far, and I know that Fibro effects each person in a different way. Some things may be a little dark, but I will also talk about the good things I have found since being ill. So here we go and thank you for joining me on this wild ride! Just letting you know this will be a long post. I just feel like I need to get this all off my chest.
So I have had Fibromyalgia for 3 and a half years, before I was ill, I was a bubbly and outgoing person who loved her job being a nursery nurse! It all started with me getting a herniated disc in the lower part of my spine. At that point it was the worst pain I had ever been in. I had never been in hospital before this point. I ended up having to take a lot of time off work, which changed my relationship with my managers, one of them even thought I was lying. I had countless X-rays, MRIs and tests to find out why, but to no result! Then one day the doctors told me that they couldn't operate because the herniation was too small and would end up causing more damage if they operated. This really shook me up, I was on so many medications which knocked me out and turned me into a zombie, but didn't get rid of the pain. I was miserable and it was one of the worst points in my life.
About 6 months after the accident, I started getting other symptoms. The pain started to radiate all over my body. I was exhausted by the slightest bit of exercise. I started getting excruciating headaches and I started becoming weaker in general. At first I thought it was side effects from the medication. But I went to the doctors and we hit a wall. They didn't have a clue what was wrong with me! This is one of the problems I have found. Doctors don't think of you as a person with feelings. There have been times where I have been sobbing and could barely get out of the chair without help, and the doctors just stare at me and do nothing. They don't think about how these symptoms affects your daily living. But I've learnt to deal with people looking at you like your crazy.
In June 2 years ago I woke up at my friends house in excruciating pain, my face was damp from where I had been crying in my sleep. Sobbing I bottom shuffled down the stairs and crawled onto the sofa. It was 2am and I didn't have anyone to talk to and I really needed help. I decided to call 111 which is a non-emergency NHS line. I told them what was going on and they decided to send a paramedic over, and told me to wake up my best friend and get her to sit with me and wait for the paramedics. Which I did but it took me so long to get back up the stairs. The paramedics came and checked me over and gave me gas and air, which really helped to numb the pain, but for anyone who hasn't had gas and air, it doesn't last long at all. The paramedic decided I should get checked over at the hospital and told me to call my mum and get her to meet me there. Calling my mum at 2.30am was a horrible thing to do. She was so scared but she told me she would meet me at the hospital. I ended up being there for 6 days and it was horrible. I was on morphine to try and numb the pain but it didn't last long. I would wake up crying every night in agony and the doctors didn't know how to help. On one of the last days a doctor came to me and told me there was nothing more they could do for me, and they had no idea what was wrong with me! This was one of the worst things I had ever heard. I didn't know what to do, but in the end I got over it. I realised I had to get on with my life.
About 6 months of constant tests trying to find out what was wrong with me. I decided to do something that you should never do! I searched up my symptoms online, but it was the only other option I had! I had been to so many consultants. And every time they came up with something different, an arachnoid cyst, my pain receptors misfiring, everything. And for my House fans out there they even thought I had Lupus, I did have to suppress a laugh at that point. I found loads of articles about people like me who had been diagnosed with a condition called Fibromyalgia, I had never heard of it, but everything they were talking about was what I was going through! I couldn't believe it. I knew a lot of doctors didn't understand or even believe in this illness but I had to talk to my doctor about this. When I talked to her she said "no I don't think you have this illness, you just have to live with what you have" but I was very adamant that I wanted to see a Rheumatologist to see if I could get a diagnosis. And after some persuading she referred me to see a rheumatologist. And when I did I finally got an answer, I did indeed have Fibromyalgia. But I had so many mixed emotions. I finally knew what was wrong with me but the condition I have has no cure and not really many treatment options. I spent so long researching this illness to try and find something I could do to help my illness without having to rely on heavy medication. But to no avail.
And now we come to the present day. I have now been officially diagnosed with Fibro for 18 months now. And still there has been nothing I have found to help my symptoms. I fully believe at least 50% of my illness is phycological because it certain situations such as being In a stress free environment or on holiday, my illness seems to almost melt away. I have tried and tried to figure out what it is that makes them go away but I have no idea! But I do have to say, this illness has made me a stronger person. I don't really take any shit anymore, and in the last 2 months I have started to find ways to live with the life I have. I have just started volunteering at a primary school. Which I love because I can finally work with children again. After my divorce, and moving back in with my mum has really helped my illness, I don't have as many flare ups, and I can manage a little easier. Also having the support from my family and best friends is really important to me. I know I can tell them everything.
I still have headaches, all over pain and fatigue, and I am also starting to get pain in my joints which is pretty common with Fibro patients. If anyone is having these symptoms, please go to a doctor and ask for help. It is so hard living with this, but every day I get a little stronger and understand this horrible, debilitating illness a little more.
Thankyou so much for reading this, this has really helped me get this off my chest. And I do feel better for writing it all down! Thanks guys and talk to you soon!

A Sunday Full Of Baking
So recently mum and I have been obsessed with The Great British Bake Off, and it has made us really want to try some baking. So this morning we decided to make a cake and some shortbread.
We didn't have a recipie that we wanted to make, so we decided to get a box recipie, and we decided on Betty Crocker's Devils Food Cake.
We both decided we would rather have buttercream than frosting, so we made our own buttercream infused with vanilla. Which I have to say tasted AMAZING!
I was so impressed when I took the cakes out of the oven! They were perfectly cooked and very sleek on the top! So we let them cool and then we added the buttercream and also put strawberries inside the layers! I must say it looks so beautiful! And tastes just as good as it looks!
Then on to he shortbread. We have made shortbread before and I love it, it's one of my favourite sweet things to eat. We decided to add a little vanilla extract, and also some white and milk chocolate chips. We mixed all the ingredients and then rolled it into a little sausage shape and put it in the fridge to set a little so it's easier to cut.
So I've had a great and productive morning and looking forward to eating more of these gorgeous bakes! We are hoping to make some more this week! So I will show you our next creations! Let me know in the comments what cakes we should try! Thanks guys and talk to you soon!

A Fun Few Days...
Hey guys! I know it's been a while, I need to get back into the swing of posting more often. I have had an awesome few days. All spent with my best friend in the world. We defiantly made the most of the weather we are having here in England at the moment.
So on Saturday we went to a family BBQ, which was really nice. The weather was a lot hotter than we expected, but we had a lovely time. I had a few Malibu and Pineapple Juice, which is my go to drink of the summer, and some lovely food, all the while soaking up the sun (even though my mum was pestering me to put suncream on, because I have the whitest skin in history)
I love spending time with my friends and family, Those are the things that make me happier in life. They really make me feel like I have a purpose in life. I know that sounds so cheesy, but it's really how I feel. My family and my best friend are my world. I don't know where I would be without them.
Then on Monday my best friend called me and invited me to the beach. I haven't been to the beach in years, but the weather was amazing, and I really wanted to make the most of it. So Adel, Roxanne and I got into the car and headed to Boscombe Beach in Bournemouth. It was so beautiful and the sun was beaming down. So we sat down on the golden sand and looked at the sea, and I felt instantly relaxed. Then the girls wanted to go in the sea, but none of us had swimming costumes, so we just went in in our clothes! I thought the water would be freezing but it wasn't. It felt so good when the sun is beating down on you. We had a lovely meal and then sat down on the beach and watched the sun set. It was so lovely. And then we had a lovely drive home, singing to music and laughing.
So I have had some lovely days making the most of the gorgeous weather. I just have to make the most of my life. So that's what I am starting to do. Today I am just spending the day with my best friend, I need to relax and my back is playing up a little. Friday is my birthday and I am going out for dinner with my Mum, and then we are going to London for the weekend (my birthday gift from my Mum) to see American Idiot, the musical made by Green Day, who are one my favourite bands EVER! and then we are staying in a hotel over night and then spending the Sunday walking around and exploring London, which is one of my favourite cities in the world!
I hope you guys are enjoying this gorgeous weather, and are doing some fun things too! I will talk to you soon!

Update 12.07.2016
Hey I am so sorry that I have been MIA recently. In all honesty I have been in a bit of a rut. Life had almost slowed to a halt, and I didn't know what to do with myself. I was shutting myself off from everything, just hiding in my bedroom. But I have recently made the decision to live my life to the fullest.
On Friday I did something I haven't done for a very long time. I went out clubbing, with two of my best friends. I find they bring out the best in my, and in all honesty I had one of the best nights I have had in a long time! and we have decided to go again on the 29th to celabrate my birthday.
I also have just been accepted to start voluenteering at a primary school. I have been so scared about working, and when I spoke to my mother, she told me to try voluenteering a few days a week and slowly work myself up, and thats exactly what I am doing. I have my meeting with them tommorrow, and then I will start at the beginning of September. I am so excited.
I know they are both small steps, but I really feel like a weight has been lifted. I feel like I can start being me again. I think my marriage breaking up (as much as I am glad it happened) has knocked me for six. I guess its getting out of previous habits and starting new ones.
Sorry I know I'm waffling. But I just need to get it all out of my brain.

Little update 16/06/2016
Hello Guys! I hope you are all well, and you had a good week. Things have been quite good for me since I've moved back in with my mum! I really feel at home and relaxed now, I think it's a little less stressful and also I don't have to worry about moving or leaving my family. But I really felt that I needed a change in my life. So last week I made the big change of cutting and dying my hair.
My half sister is a qualified hairdresser and so I spoke to her and told her that I wanted a change, and we decided to go from waist length boring hair, to a short graduated bob. And also I wanted to change the colour, I wanted to go brighter ginger, but also have some flashes of blonde in it. So last week we did that drastic change, and I have to say I love it so much! I feel like it represents me more! And it doesn't get in the way!
I also got a new car. As the old one was in my exes name. I got a Suzuki Swift and I love having the freedom again! It feels so good to be able to go out when and where I want. I also feel like less of a burden to my family.
My next plan is to try and get a part time job. My mum works a mobile support worker and I was thinking of joining her, or becoming a teaching assistant.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I will talk to you guys soon!

New Start & Motivation to Loose Weight
Hey guys! I hope you are well and had a great weekend. I had a lovely last few days, enjoying the sun and spending time with my family!
A few weeks ago my mum and I decided that we would make a new start in our lives. We decided to start a diet starting this morning. Nothing too severe, just watching what we eat and our portion sizes. I also want to look into exercising more and drinking more water. So I woke up this morning with a fresh new outlook. As soon as I got up I had a big glass of lemon water, which helps to boost your metabolism, and then I had some low-sugar cereal, and to be honest, I feel great already.
I have started to look on websites for clothes that I would want to wear when I have lost the weight and have a better figure, so I thought I would show you some of the clothes that I like. Enjoy!
The website I am looking at is www.missguided.com
The first one is this faux suede camel coloured midi skirt. I really love the colour of this, and I think it would go with so many looks and you can dress it up or down. This retails for £18.
The next one is a matte black faux leather wrap over skirt. I have seen this style of skirt for a while, but at my weight now, it would look stupid. But I am hoping when I loose some weight I will suit this style of skirt. This retails for £15.
Next are these gorgeous white denim ripped kneed jeans. I love jeans, and I find that these look lovely on, and at the moment I wear my jeans (high wasted or not) under a baggy or free flowing top, but I would love to be able to wear it tucked into the jeans, like the model in the photo. This retails for £25
The next are these awesome retro looking high rise jeans. I love the colour, and the shape it looks on the body. I love retro clothes and I think this would look great with a vintage top. I like ankle grazers too. These retail for £25
And keeping with the denim theme I love this denim jacket, but i always found they looked too short on me. This one seems a perfect length, and I like the colour of this jacket. I think this would go really well with a casual look with leggings and a top, or with a maxi dress too. Very versatile. This retails for £35
I love these satin shorts in this dusty rose colour. At the moment I have a issue wearing shorts because I have larger thighs and chafing is a big problem. I also think that they would look awesome in the transition to autumn with over the knee socks. These retail for £22
And then there is these gorgeous black lace hem high waisted shorts. I love the look of these, they are simple and would go with anything, but the lace gives it that extra va va voom! I think this would look gorgeous on holiday or when its sunny in the UK. This retails for £20
I love black fabric with lace, I think there is something sleek and sexy about it, and this play suit is the epitome of sexy. I think with some bright coloured shoes it would look awesome! I just have to figure out how to wear a bra with this! This retails for £25
And then this play suit is more simple, and the wrap style looks perfect with curves. the colour goes well with all skin colours. I think you could dress this up or down. So I think this is a perfect wardrobe staple. This retails for £12
This palm print skater dress is amazing, and great for summer, and also I find skater dresses really flattering on curvier women. Sometimes white can wash me out, but the green would make my eyes and hair colour pop! This retails for £18.
This dress is gorgeous! And would be perfect for going out, I love the mesh cut outs, I think they make it look more sheek and sexy. This little black dress can go with so many accessories, so I think you can use it in a lot of situations. This retails for £20
This black lace up bodysuit is awesome. I like the look of bodysuits with trousers or skirts over the top, it looks a lot more stream-lined, and you don't get all bunched up. I love the lace up piece. I think that it's sexy, but also I think it's very sleek. I would buy this in all colours! This retails for £22
This camel coloured cami is lovely. I love the shape of the top of it, and also I think the colour would look good on my skin, as it's a similar colour to my freckles! Normally I have to have longer length tops, but when I loose weight I think I will feel more comfortable wearing shorter tops. This retails for £18
Now, I know I can still wear shoes now, but I think I will be more confident to wear different shoes. So here is a couple of shoes I would love to wear when I'm more confident.
I love these heels. And the metallic strap across the ankle gives it that something extra! I don't wear heels much, but I would like to wear them more often. I think this would go with a lot of different looks. These retail for £30.
Now I love these shoes! The remind me of Tinkerbell. I think the colour is gorgeous, I think it's more of a dusky pink than a nude, but I think it would look so good with black or brown, to be honest pretty much any colour. These retail for £30.
So that is all from me! I hope you enjoy and I will talk to you guys later!

Holiday Post 30.04.2016
Hey guys! So recently I went on holiday with my family to Puerto De La Cruz in Tererife. We go to Tenerife a lot as my grandparents have an apartment over there. But this time my Mother, Auntie, her Partner and I were staying in an amazing hotel called the Las Vegas, which was slap bang in the midde of the town. I thought I would make a post about this amazing holiday with my family!
So the day before we jetted off to Tenerife, I stayed over at my Mum's house to make everything easier for the next day, I did her nais ready for holiday and then we had an early night. At 9am the next day, we picked up my Auntie and her partner, and we drove to a car park. which looks after your car while you are on holiday. We then got a bus to the airport, and did all the boring things like checking in and going through security. Then we decided to have some brunch at Frankie and Bennies. If you know me at all, I am always hungry and needed to fuel up before getting on the plane. We also bought some snacks and books for the flight itself.
We flew with Monarch, which is the airline we usually choose. We had a good and pretty quick flight, it only took 3 hours and 55 minutes, where it usually takes a bit over 4 hours. When we arrived to Tenerife we got our luggage and waited for the bus which takes us to Puerto. The bus journey took around an hour, and we met my grandparents at the hotel bar at about 8.30pm. We had a few drinks with them and then had an early night because I don't know about you but travelling always makes my exsausted.
The hotel room we had was AMAZING! We had two queen sized beds, an awesome balcony with a view to the sea and the strip of amazing resteraunts. It's so relaxing to hear the sound of the waves lapping at the shore while your trying to drift off to sleep. I would recommend this hotel 100%!
The next day we didn't do much, just walked around the town and bought a few things. The weather wasn't too great the first day. It was really cloudy, but still warm. We went down stairs for breakfast, which was a buffet style with so much choice. I would usually have a crossiant and some fruit to start, with lots of coffee, and then I would have some eggs and bacon, and then maybe some yogurt. We usually fill ourselves up on breakfast and then we don't eat again until dinner time. We then went to a few shops, my mother bought herself a Pandora bracelet, and bought matching charms for her and I. We went to our favourite Cafe, which we have been going to since I was born. We know all the staff and always have the same thing. Milkshakes. I usually have Coffee flavour, and my mum has Banana or Strawberry. We then went back to the hotel and chilled out for a while before going to one of our favourite resteraunts, Cafe Du Paris. We have been going to most of these resteraunts for a very long time, and most of the places I'll mention, we go to because the food is amazing. I had Deep Fried Camenbert (Which is my favourite thing in the whole world) with peaches and toast and then a steak with peppercorn sauce. After feeling really full we went to an English bar for a few drinks.
The next day the weather was so much better, beautiful sunshine, no clouds and gorgeous heat. This felt like the Tenerife I know. We had our breakfast and then went for a little walk and then headed to the pool in the hotel. We sunbathed for a while and had a swim, and then had a small siesta before I took my mum to my favourite resteraunt La Merea. I have been going there for a few years, and I have never had a bad meal there. I had a Passionfruit Daquiri, and mum had a Sex On The Beach. The cocktails they have there are so amazing. I had prawns in garlic and oil, and then Duck with blackberry sauce and Dauphinous potatoes. I have the most times and it's always amazing. I can't remember what mum had but I know she really enjoyed it. I got to see one of the barmen called Mike that I have been friends with for a few years, and it was really good to see him. We then went to a bar called the Beehive, which we have been going to for so many years. We are friends with most of the staff so it makes it a really enjoyable experiance.
The next day was another beautiful day, so we spent all day down by the pool. I really like the Las Vegas pool area. You have one small pool for children to paddle in and then you aso have the main pool, which isn't massive but it's big enough. Only downside is the water is freezing, but once you get your head under you are fine. There is also a bar outside so you can get yourself drinks and snacks without going inside. There is also a spa which I make sure I go to every time I go to Tenerife. There is so many sunbeds too so you are never fighting for space. When I am at the pool I usually read or do some puzzles in between taking a dip in the pool. In the evening we went out tp dinner with my grandparents, to one of their favourite resteraunts Los Gomelos (The Twins) which does some amazing food. I had the prawns in garlic (Again) and then a steak. The steaks in Tenerife are always awesome. They are the quality of a fillet, but the size of a rump or sirloin. It came with chips and a salad. One thing I notice is they don't serve many fresh vegetables. We then went to a bar for a few drinks before heading to bed.
The next day was my grandads birthday, we went up to their apartment in the morning, and gave him our cards and gifts, and bought him a cake from a local bakery. It was nice to spend quality time with my grandparents on this fantastic island. We then went back to the hotel and sunbathed and swam for a while before going for an early dinner, because there was only a small buffet at the party. We went to a resteraunt called Cosmopolitan, I had some Camenbert (I think you can see a theme here) and then tortolinni with a cream and ham sauce. We then went and got ready for the party and headed to the bar. We had a lovely party, surrounded by my grandparent's friends. Everyone had a good time of laughter and drinks. I really hope Grandad had a good time.
Next day we did the same as the last few days, making the most of the sunshine before heading home. The weather wasn't as good as the other few days, so we didn't spend all day at the pool, we were so tried so we went back to the room and had a nap. Mum and I decided to go back to La Merea as we enjoyed it so much last time. I had the same starter, but I had steak in pepper sauce and my mum had beef stroganoff. It again, was an amazing meal. We then went to the Beehive for a few drinks, but ended up heading back earlier than normal because we were all so tired.
The next day was our last full day so we did some walking around the town, getting all the last bits we needed, and then had a afternoon by the pool. We went out for dinner with my grandparents again. We went to a resteraunt a little way out of the town centre. It's called the Monastario, there is a few different resteraunts there, but we went to the one my grandparents usually go to. I had Camenbert (I had to make the most of it) and then a ginormous leg of lamb with sauteed potatoes and veg. The sides weren't that good, but the meat...Oh My God! It was so amazing. But it was so big I couldn't finsih it. We went back to a bar and had drinks unti it closed. We wanted to make the most of everything before we had to leave.
On our last day we spent the morning by the pool and then we went back to Cafe Du Paris for dinner at lunch time to fuel us before our flight back home. I had Camenbert (sorry if your getting bored by my lack of adventurous meal picking) and then Spagetti Bolognese. We then went and got our things from the hotel (after checking out) and got the bus to take us back to the airport. I just listened to music and watched the views from the window. We got to the airport and did the annoying things like checking in and going through secruity. Then we sat down with a drink for a while, and then boarded the plane. Again the flight was pretty normal. There was a little hiccup on the flight when we noticed a guy who seemed to be in pain, and about 10 minutes later there was a message over the tannoy asking if there was any doctors on board. But I think it was all sorted out because it was all quiet after that. We landed in the middle of the night, and got back to the car park and picked up the car and headed back home. We ended up getting home about 3am and went straight to bed.
I had such an amazing holiday, I just wish it was longer. My mother and I are hoping to go on holiday some time in September, but we are not sure were to go. If you have any ideas, comment below and we will look into it. Sorry this was a long post. I just wanted to document this amazing holiday. Thanks for reading and talk to you soon.

Little Update
Hey guys I know it's been forever since I last posted, but the last few weeks have been a little up in the air.
On the 31st April my family and I went on holiday to Tenerife for a week for my grandfather's 70th birthday. It was amazing and I will do a separate post about that later on.
When I got back, sadly my husband and I decided to seperate and go our separate ways. We ended up being more like friends than husband and wife. So I ended up moving back in with my mum. Which in some ways is awesome because it means now I am going to stay closer to my family and friends!
I have been to some physio and phycology appointments for dealing with my Fibro. Which seem to be going okay. I will update you more about that soon.
So this is just a small post but I thought I would let you know the things that have been happening in my life. Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you soon!
