Little Trip To London

I love London. I always have, the busy streets, the beautiful architecture, the amazing theatres. Just everything about makes me so happy. Last weekend my mum and I decided to have a weekend in  London. We booked tickets to see Memphis the musical and booked to stay in Le Meridian hotel on Picadilly. I was so excited and I knew it was going to be an amazing weekend. As you probably already know I have a very strong bond with my mum and spending a weekend just her and me was something I relish in.

So on Saturday my mum picked me up and we drove to Northolt. And then we got the tube to Piccadilly Circus, I was struggling to hold my overnight bag as it was heavy and my muscles had trouble carrying it. We walked to the hotel and checked in. Le Meridan is such a beautiful and posh hotel. I felt so lucky to be staying in somewhere so gorgeous. We went up to our room and put our bags down and then we figured out what to do next. We went and had a coffee and then walked around Covent Garden. We looked at the market and then went to Wagamamas for lunch. My mum had never been before but she was pleasantly surprised.
Afterwards we decided to go back to the hotel and go for a swim. The pool was so beautiful and it was a really relaxing time. I tired going into a steam room but I couldn't handle it. After about an hour we energy back to the room all relaxed and started to get ready for our night out. I decided to dress up but I needed to be comfortable. Around 6pm we left and went to a small Italian restaurant called Milanos. The food was very simple but gorgeous.

We then walked to the theatre, which wasn't too far. We went in and sat down in our seats, after getting a programme. The show was amazing, I will write a post about the show next. But I would reccomend it to anyone!

After the show we walked back to the hotel and we decided to have a cocktail before bed. So we went to the lounge in the hotel. The cocktails were good but so expensive! They were so strong though, you only need one or two to make you feel good! We went back to our hotel room about 12pm and then had a great sleep.

In the morning we got ready and checked out, but we left our bags with the concierge as I was not carrying that massive bag around London. We went to Oxford street, all the shops didn't open until 12am but we had a coffee while we waited. I love spending time with mum. I don't think I can reiterate that enough!

We went into Matalan and bought some things and then went into Lush which was the reason I came to Oxford street in the first place! It's the biggest lush store I've ever seen! I bought a few things and then we went back to Piccadily and went to the Hard Rock Cafe which is awesome! I don't think I've ever been there before but it was brilliant. Expensive but brilliant! We had nachos to share and mum had a pulled chicken burger and I had Mac and cheese with grilled chicken! It was so lovely. I also had a strawberry daiquiri and got the glass to take home.

After that we decide to pick up our bags and go home. The weekend was amazons. But I did pay for it the next day. I couldn't get out of bed. That's the problem with fibromyalgia. You have a good day and hen the next day you can't move. It's a bitch I know. But I would donut all again! All in all I had a fantastic week, and I just want to say thank you to my gorgeous mum for letting me come with you!
