The problem with having no money is you lust over products, and then it upsets you because you cannot afford it. But I still love to put together wish lists for products that I will buy when I have the money. So I thought I would show you some of the products that I am wanting from Superdrug. You can buy any of these products and so much more either in a Superdrug store or on www.superdrug.com.
So I will start with Primer. I don't wear primer every day, but when I go out, I want my makeup to last. I have heard a lot about the Loreal Infallable Mattifying Primer, and because I have oily skin, I really want to try a mattifying primer, and see how well it works. This primer retails for £7.99, which I think is quite a good price, as long as it works. So fingers crossed.
Next on to Foundation, I have tried and loved the Loreal True Match Foundation, but recently I have found out that they have re-made it with a new formula, and I would love to try it. I haven't heard too much about it, but I would like to try it for myself, and if I do, I will make sure to write a review about the two different formulas. This retails for £7.99
Another foundation I would like to try is the Maybelline Dream Satin Foundation. Most of the foundations I have tried are matte finished, but I think I would like to try something a little more natural. I have tried Maybelline's dream matte mousse before, and I love it. So I would like to try this one too. This also has an SPF 13, which is great for every day use. This foundation retails for £7.99
Next on to concealer, I have hideous dark circles, and so I need to find something that not only covers the dark circles but also brightens the under eye area. I have heard so much about the Maybelline Age Rewind concealer, and I have wanted to try this for such a long time, but every time I go into Boots or Superdrug I completely forget to purchase it. This gorgeous concealer retails for £7.99
Being an oily skinned girl, I need powder, especially in my t-zone and to seal the concealer. So I thought to go with the Loreal True Match foundation, I would try the powder too. Usually I go for powders that are translucent, but I really want to try one with a little coverage. So I thought I would give this one a try. This retails for £6.99
Next onto blusher. I have never really been a fan of blush, but I like that flushed look in Autumn. So I thought I would give a berry coloured blush a go. I love this colour 'Coral' by Sleek. It isn't a coral colour, but a beautiful burnt berry colour, and the great thing is this only retails for £4.49
Next onto bronzer and contour powders. I love making my face look a little sun kissed. Even in Autumn. So first for bronzer, I have been using this bronzer for a while, until it broke on holiday, and I have realized how much I love this product. This is the MUA Bronzed Perfection Bronzer. This beautiful product retails for only £3.00.
And then on days where I want to look a little more chiseled, I would use the B. Sun Kissed Bronzing Powder in Light. This is a gorgeous colour that would look just like a shadow on the skin. Because I am so pale, I need a light colour, but it needs to be on the ashier side. This retails for £8.99.
And then the last face product is a highlighter. I like the dewy look on my cheekbones and on the tip of my nose and on my cupids bow. I like a slight pink tint to my highlighters, so I thought this Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Peach Lights. I have heard good things about the brand Makeup Revolution, but I have never had a chance to try it. This gorgeous product retails for £3.00, which is amazing!
In the next post I will talk about the eye and lip products that are on my Superdrug wish list! Thanks for reading!
