Hey guys, I haven't done a wish list in a while, and I am really needing some new makeup, so I thought I would look on superdrug.com and show you some products that caught my eye.
First I will start with makeup.
First product is Primer. I have heard a lot about the L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer, and I really want to try it. The consistancy is silicone based and thats the way I like it to look. It also has a very good staying power. It retails for £7.99 and a little goes a long way, so it should last a while.
And to go along with the primer, I want to try the Infallible 24hour foundation in the shade Vanilla. It looks like it doesn't have a lot of orange tones in it and also it would keep me pretty matte and also it will last all day long, which is good when I start to work. This retails for £9.99
There is a couple of concealers I have been looking at so I thought I would show you them and explain my reasons.
First is a colour corrector, I get pretty bad dark circles under my eyes, and peach and red tones help to cover them up. so I thought this one from Makeup Acadamy is perfect, it only retails for £2.00 so if it doesn't work It's not such a loss.
Next is the Revlon Colour Stay Concealer in Ivory. This is another cooler toned face product. And the Colourstay products have a pretty good reputation behind them, so I thought I would give them a try. They are pretty full coverage, which is a good thing with my dark circles. This retails for £7.99, which isn't too bad.
And the last one is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind in the shade light. This gets rid of dark circles, but also the coverage is really good. I have seen so many good reviews, but have never tired it for myself. This retails for £7.99 but you dont need too much to highlight your face.
Next on to powder. I have tried a lot of Collection products, but never a powder. So I thought I would give this pressed powder in Ivory a go. I normally go for translucent powders, but I thought I would go for something with a little bit of colour, but again struggling with orange tones in products, this looked very cool toned, and it only costs £2.99.
Next on to bronzer, this Rimmel Brozing compact in Light Matte. I don't like shimmery bronzers, and this one doesn't look too orange either, which is good for someone as pale as me. This retails for £5.59. Which isn't too bad.
And for contouring and highlighting, This Makeup Revolution Contour pallete looks awesome. They have cool and neautral shades, and some matte highlighting powders, and then two shimmery ones. I really can't wait to give this a go! This retails for £8.00 which is great, I'm definatly going to give this a go.
I'm not the biggest blush fan, but with spring coming up I'd like a little more colour in my cheeks. This GOSH Blush in Blush Rose is a gorgeous pinky peach colour. It's got a matte finish which I'm totally into. I have heard some good things about GOSH products and this retails for £7.99
And for highlighter, This Revolution Radiance Palette is beautiful. It's been duped with Hourglasses Ambient Lighting Palette. And I like the fact that there is 3 different shades, some more cool or warm toned, which is good because everything changes with different colours. This retails for £8.00 which isn't bad at all as the pan size is good!
For brows this Freedom duo eye powder in Caramel Brown. It looks so simular to the Anastasia Brow Powders. I don't know if it has enough red tones in it, but being £3.00 I could try out some of their other colours.
I like having a eye primer on because sometimes my eye makeup will crease or transfer and this will stop it from happening. I love MUA products, so I thought I would give the eye primer a go. This retails for £2.50 which isn't bad at all. I haven't heard much about it but I've liked every other product of theirs that I have tried.
I love MUA eyeshadow palettes, and this one, called Romantic Effloresence looks so beautiful. I love rosey tones, and I love the rose gold colour on the top right hand corner. You get 12 shades for £4.00 its amazing. They are so pigmented and also they last a while. I would highly reccomend these products to any one.
And the other product is the Freedom Pro Artist palette. There is so many awesome shades in this. I love all the different browns and copper colours. There is 48 colours for £15 which I don't think is bad for the amount of shades you get! I have never tried Freedom products, but I would love to try it.
I don't usually wear eyeliner, but I really want to try again. I always have a problem with eyeliners either being not dark or matte enough. But this says Matte Black, so hopefully it lives up to expectation. I like the brush applicator and its only £3.00
I seem to have a problem with mascara. It's never volumising enough or long lasting enough, but I have heard some amazing things about the L'Oreal Telescopic mascara. This retails for £10.99 which is good for a drugstore product. I have heard some really good reviews about this product, so I wouldn't mind to try it for myself.
Next on to lips, this Collection Lipstick in the shade Cafe Au Lait. This is the perfect nude with a touch of pink. It looks pretty matte which is nice. This retails for £2.99 which isn't bad. I've had some good Collection Prodcuts.
Next is the MUA lipstick in Nectar, its more of a peach colour but still on the nude spectrum. I have tried these lipsticks before, and I would use them again. These retail for £1.00 which is amazing for how long these last!
And last is the Rimmel Provocolips. I have heard some amazing things about this product. It lasts so long and its kiss proof and doesn't come off when you eat or drink either. I love this baby pink colour, and it's not so light that it looks like concealer on the lips. This retails for £6.99 which isn't bad considering how little product that you need.
So thats everything! Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy and I will talk to you soon!
Some of these items seem very good to me. X
