Hey guys, I hope you all are well. I've had a pretty busy week, so I thought I would let you know what things I have been up to.
On Monday I had a chilled out day, I didn't do too much, just tidied the house and watched Sons Of Anarchy, which I have become pretty obsessed with. I've always loved biker gangs and their loyalty to their club and their families. If you like things like that, give it a go, there is quite a lot of fighting and shooting, but the story lines drag be back in.
On Tuesday I had a Doctors appointment to get my depo injection (contraception) and then I headed to Reading to have my acupuncture appointment. The man who did my acupuncture said I had two knots on my shoulders that were as hard as rocks, they didn't know how to release them. So it looks like for a while I'm stuck with the pain.
On Wednesday I stayed at my best friends house, I went their early and I did a gel manicure for her little sister, she was my first proper client and I think I did a pretty good job.
She needed them to be short and neat as she works in a Vets. She decided on a dark red colour which I think really suits her complexion. What do you guys think? Did I do a good job?
On Thursday, my best friend and I got up early, and went to Surrey as she was training some people British Sign Language. I came along to help but it's good because I get to learn too. On the way home we stopped in Basingstoke for Frankie and Bennies, It's Adel's birthday on the 19th, so we said it was her 'Birthday Meal'. I went back to hers and stayed at hers overnight.
Friday I chilled out with Adel until about 1pm. We just snuggled on the sofa and watched Netflix. Then I came home and did some house work and my mother came over about 3pm and I did a pedicure and a gel manicure on her, because she was going out on the weekend, and also I need the practise.
Sorry about the weird angles, but I forgot to take a photo after, so my mum had to take them herself. She decided for the classic bright red. Doing a gel manicure on her is hard because she had a stroke when I was born and her right hand is paralysed, so we had to do one nail at a time, which makes it take alot longer that normal. But I think the colour is really lovely on her.
Saturday I spent the day with Adel. Shane just wanted to chill and be on his computer, but I wanted to get out of the house. So I went over to Adel's and helped her with a bit of house work and then we did some food shopping. We went and got her car washed and then we went back to my house and had pizza and watch The Originals, which is one of Adel's favourite programmes. It's connected to the Vampire Diaries so I understood a little of whats going on, but it didn't hook me as much as TVD did.
Today I haven't been doing much, just chilling with Shane, Adel is coming over when she finishes work, because tomorrow I am taking her to her training in Bracknell. I have to pop to Sallys to get a couple of supplies and get a couple of bits and bobs in LIDL.
It is Shane and My 2 year Anniversary on Tuesday, I don't think we are doing too much until the weekend when we go out for dinner. At the moment we don't have loads of money, so we are being basic this year. On Thursday I have my second training day with The Beauty Academy. I will be learning about UV Gel nails and tip application. I cannot wait, I just want to keep learning as much as possible. Then on Friday I am doing a pedicure and a gel manicure for my best friend as she is going out for her birthday on the Saturday and this is her birthday present from me. It will be my first time doing tips so wish me luck. Then on the Saturday, Shane and I will be going out for dinner. We aren't sure were to go just yet, but I will keep you updated.
I hope you all had a lovely week and that the week ahead is full of love and happiness. Thanks for reading and I will talk to you soon!
