Hey guys! Seeing as I have done a gift guide for men and women, it got me thinking about what I would like for Christmas this year. My family are toning it down with the amount of presents we get one another, which I thank god for, because I don't get much money (stupid Fibro) so I wont feel bad getting my family members a few presents each.
So I thought I would be a little selfish and think about some things that I would love to recieve for Christmas. Most of these products are things I cannot get here in the UK, such as cosmetics, or they are really exspensive... So here we go! I hope you enjoy!
For as long as I can remember, I have loved Kat Von D. I used to spend hours watching Miami Ink, and I used to think she was one of the most beautiful and indervidual women I have ever seen. When I saw she had relesed a make-up line, I knew that one day I would have to have some of the beautiful items. So far I don't have any (boo hoo!) but some of her products would have to be on my wish list!
First would be her Lock It Tattoo Foundation. Can I start by saying how beautiful the packaging of her products are! Just look at it! I think I would be in her lightest shade with a neautral undertone. This retails for $35 but I know a little goes a long way, so I would love to try this product out!
Next I think is the product that I want the most, and that is the Shade & Light Contour pallete! I have heard so many amazing things about it, and what drew me to it in the first place is the colours are very neautral or cool toned, which is great to someone with my complexion. Some contour shades can look too muddy or orange on me and these look perfect. This retails for $46, which I think would be so worth it!
Another product which I have heard so many good things about is the Tattoo Liner in Trooper. When I was growing up (around 16) I used to be so good at creating a winged liner, but with my lack of practice, I've lost my skill, and I would love to try this product and see if I can become a pro again! This is meant to be so pigmented and so dark, which is great because you don't want patchy eyeliner. This retails for $19
Next on to her amazing lipsticks and liquid lipsticks. Again I have heard people raving about these products and I have seen countless lip swatch videos, and I have to say I'm hooked! Let's start with the Studded Kiss Lipsticks, which retail for $21. There are so many amazing shades, but I think the ones I would want the most would be Lovecraft, Hellbent, La Femme, Countess and Moterhead. She has some every day shades like nudes, pinks and reds, but then she has some really out there colours like lilac, green, black and copper.
And then we move on to the liquid lipsticks, apparently these things stay on all day, even when you are eating, drinking, kissing, these things will not budge. These retail for £20 and the colours that stick out to me are Bachorlorette, Beloved, Double Dare, Lovesick, Mother and Lolita. There are so many amazing colours again and I would love to try them all.
All in all I would love to have ALL Kat Von D's products in my vanity, but we can't have everything we want can we!
Another brand that I have been lusting after for years, but haven't been able to afford any of is Anastasia Beverly Hills. I have seen so many YouTubers using there products and just seeing how good they were made me want them even more!
The first product I heard about was their Brow Wizz, I have been trying to find a good eyebrow pencil, but always had trouble to find anything with a red undertone to it, and they have a perfect shade called Auburn. I have darker eyebrows than my hair so I needed a dark colour, but with a lot of red running through it! I can't wait to try this product out. This retails for $21
And then on to their liquid lipsticks. I have heard amazing things, and the same as the Kat Von D products, they last all day and wont budge. These retail for $20 The colours that spoke to me are Pure Hollywood, Sad Girl, Sweet Talker, Bloodline and Heathers.
Fingers Crossed one day I will get to try out this amazing brand too!
And yet another brand that I don't think ships to the UK is ColourPop. I have heard amaizng things about both their eyeshadows and their lip products. So I thought I would show you some products that are tugging at my heart strings!
First on to their Super Shock Shadows (try saying that five times fast)They retail for only $5 each, which is amazing! There are so many beautiful colours to choose from, so I will give you a list of some of the colours that spoke to me. Cheap Date, Glitterati, Supermodel, Boyband, Nillionare, Flipper, Girly, Fringe, I Heart This, Amaze, On The Rocks, Tea Party, Fantasy, Hustle and Liberty (sorry for the huge list, I couldn't pick just a few) If I find out they ship to the UK I will be buying all of these. They literlly do every colour of the rainbow! It's amazing, and you get quite a lot of product too!
Next on to their Lippie Stix. I have been wanting to try these for YEARS, these retail for only $5 again, which is amazing, so here is another pretty long list of colours I am lusting over. Peppermint, Silk, Dazed, Crunch, Kiddo, Julep, Lumiere, Cake, Frida, Punky, Bossy, LBB, Flawless and Creature.
I really reccomend checking out all these brands! You won't regret it! So thats it for the makeup addition of my Christmas Wishlist. I hope you enjoy and I'm hoping to carry on this series over the next few days! Talk soon!
